About Me

Thank you for stopping by! First, let me introduce myself:

I grew up in North Mississippi, just outside of Memphis, Tennessee (Walls, MS…tip top of the MS Delta). I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2003 with dual degrees in International Business (emphasis Marketing) and Spanish. Go Dawgs!!!
In 2003, I married my best friend and we began our life together in Philadelphia, Mississippi. In 2010, we welcomed a precious little blue-eyed, curly-headed baby girl in the world, Reese Caroline. She is our world! It’s true that a baby changes everything! After her arrival, I decided to leave my job as a Marketing Manager for an Aerospace & Defense company to spend more time with my sweet baby girl! I quickly realized that I still needed to maintain an outlet for a career to balance mommy time and social time! I knew that I had strengths in graphic design and marketing, and I loved photography!!! So, I literally started this business on our kitchen table in 2010 doing the things I loved and have never looked back! It has been non-stop ever since and I am so grateful!

Every day, I am amazed by the support this little venture has been given! In 2011, I started a small studio in our home and it didn’t take long to realize that I needed more space! In 2012, I opened a boutique studio in a gorgeous, newly renovated, historic gem of a building in downtown Philadelphia. It’s my dream space and I am so thankful to have it!

That’s a little about me and how we’ve gotten to this point! It’s been quite a journey…one that I didn’t foresee, but I have learned that those are the best ones! I’d love to get to know more about you and your family! Choosing a photographer is a fun task! My advice is to select someone because you love their work….because it looks like something you’d love to hang on your wall….something that would make you happy every day! I love this job and work very hard to capture the sweet memories and details that you want to remember, always! I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know your family!
